yeap, i've been so busy that i've neglected my poor lil bloggie.
despite the stress and all, last week has been a HAPPY & enjoyable one.
1) i got my SILVER for my napfa test. =D x) :D =P :] initially i didnt have any confidence in myself i would be able to pass as i was suffering from really bad muscle aches the day before. even on that day itself, i had difficulties climbing the stairs. naturally i just gave up entirely on myself. but even when i had lost all hope, my dear friends never gave up on me. tat's the most touching and sweet feeling u can ever have. my deepest thanks goes out to those who supported me. esp to shuwen who mentioned more than 10 jia yous in that 1 hour or so. tat seemingly innocent and simple word really gave me that extra push. and to koon and mei too!
in my eyes, this napfa silver award is considered as an achievement by itself. being able to pass my napfa test and becoming fitter was one of my new year resolution. though i accomplished it much later than the rest, i cannot feel more proud of myself that i've done it with my own hard work. i slipped and fell down hard at the sbj station. i was afraid of falling again. but that determination was the driving force in me. as a result, i jumped for nearly 10 times before jumping more than expected.
i hope i dun sound like im bragging about my so-called achievement. but if u know how hard it is for me to attain this simple dream of mine, u would understand that this silver is a testament of how dreams are within our reach. And we should never give up trying. (:
2) sat was my club Installation Ceremony. after a 1 year plus of service, we have finally officially stepped down. yup, in short, it was a memorable saturday! (: however, one thing i've observed about the current j1s is that they really LACK intiative. they need constant reminders to help clean up the venue and spent a wholly good time fooling around. luckily, our batch was never like them! haha. our rotarian advisor has invited us to his house for bbq this coming friday. (: i really do look forward to that!
3) my parents are in the final stage of making the decision on whether to purchase the condo unit. i guess they're about 90% confirm buying a unit! hahah. 3 years will be a LONG wait but i can take this time to persuade my parents to get a dog! my mei and i have arldy be discussing the name of the dog if we can get one. what about twiny? haha.
anyway, i do hope i can meet up with the peeps before they fly overseas soon. but it seems like i dun have much time on my side. =
after tonight will be the month of AUGUST! ...... AHHHHH! time really flies and soon it'll be my prelims :( okay today shall be the last weekday i'll use the computer!
